All HSBC Premier credit cardholders who purchase their return air tickets on their credit card.

Credit cardholder may extend this travel insurance to his/her immediate family only when their respective return air tickets are charged to an HSBC credit card provided the cardholder is travelling with them. Immediate family comprises the cardholder's legal spouse, unmarried children up to the age of 18 and in the event the child is an unmarried, fulltime student he/she can be included up to the age of 23.

No - on purchase of the return air ticket on your HSBC credit card you are automatically enrolled under this scheme.

For HSBC Premier credit card cardholders the age limit is 75 years.

The reason for the return air ticket is to ensure the credit cardholder returns to Sri Lanka. Those who will not be doing so (e.g. students, immigrants) are deemed as temporary residents in the relevant country/region and as such cannot be included for this benefit.

All HSBC Platinum Cash Back or Rewards or Live + credit card holders who purchase their return air tickets using their credit card.

Credit cardholder may extend this travel insurance to his/her immediate family only when their return air tickets are billed to the HSBC credit card provided the cardholder is travelling with them. 

Immediate family comprises of the cardholder's legal spouse, unmarried children up to the age of 18 and in the event the child is an unmarried, full time student (he/she) can be included up to the age of 23.

You are required to pre-register in order to avail this free Travel Insurance cover offered by Allianz Insurance post purchasing the return air ticket.

Remember to type CCTRAVEL & send your SMS to 4774 to register (before departure) post purchasing the return air ticket to avail this offer.

For card holders the age limit is 75 years.
